Mural Unveiling and Artist Reception at Vineyard Dog Park

Vineyard Dog Park directors will host an official mural unveiling and artist reception on Saturday, July 13 from 9am – 10:30am at the dog park. All are welcome to attend (with or without a dog). Free coffee and pastries will be served at the reception.

The new mural, painted by local artist Lin Mercer, is the eighth mural since the park’s opening in 2009. Lin’s design was selected by the park directors from entries submitted to a contest held earlier in the year. The mural is located at the dog park’s main entrance.

Lin's whimsical mural design includes a colorful panorama of dogs (and a few cats and birds) of all shapes and personalities in the bleacher section of a sporting match. Lin Mercer is a local artist, painter and muralist, and has been showing her artwork on the Central Coast for over 20 years.

Vineyard Dog Park is located at 1010 Semillon Lane in Templeton. For information about dog park activities, visit or call 805.610.8291

His quest inspires a group of dog lovers to expose a government conspiracy.
