SLO-4-PUPS is the Project Committee responsible for building and maintaining El Chorro Dog Park, the first fenced off-leash recreation area in San Luis Obispo County which opened in October 2001. El Chorro Dog Park is located in El Chorro Regional Park on Highway 1 across from Cuesta College.
Our dog park offers two fenced areas: a 1.50 acre large dog area and a .25 acres small dog area. The park has picnic tables, benches, water, doggie spas, paved walkways, abundant parking and restrooms.
All construction and maintenance is performed by volunteers and is accomplished solely through donations. We greatly appreciate their generosity and thank them with our yearly anniversary celebration each fall.
