Sherwood Dog Park of Paso Robles opened in April 2012 and is maintained by volunteers and funded entirely by donations. The park is located on the historic site of Sherwood Field, the first airport in Paso Robles. To honor that legacy, the park has adopted an aviation theme.

The 1.25 acre park is cross fenced for separate big and small dogs. Ground cover consists of recycled wood chips. Shade is available under the shade structure and numerous mature trees located throughout the park.

Dog bags, drinking water, tennis balls and rackets, and a dunking pool are enjoyed by the dogs. Park benches and picnic tables are enjoyed by the dog owners.

We ask park visitors to contribute a day use fee of $1 in the collection box at the park entrance. Optionally, consider pledging a $30 annual membership.

Our park is located at 290 Scott Street in Paso Robles adjacent to the Senior Center.
