Parks4Pups is an organization with a mission to encourage San Luis Obispo County to provide areas in the North County for off-leash recreation for people and their dogs. In 2004, Parks4Pups became a project committee of SLOPOST (San Luis Obispo Parks, Open Space and Trails Foundation) a 501c3, tax-exempt nonprofit corporation.

In March 2005, Parks4Pups completed the construction of Heilmann Dog Park in Atascadero. In February 2009, we completed the construction of Vineyard Dog Park in Templeton. We are currently proposing to build a dog park adjacent to Sherwood Park in Paso Robles. Click here for more information.

Parks4Pups also organizes several annual community events including the Paso Robles Dog Jog, Dog Splash Days in Templeton, and the Dogtoberfest/Wiener Dog Races in Atascadero.
