Parks-4-Pups is an organization created to encourage San Luis Obispo County to provide areas in the North County for off-leash recreation for people and their dogs. In 2004, Parks-4-Pups became a project area of SLOPOST (San Luis Obispo Parks, Open Space and Trails Foundation) a 501c3, tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. In March 2005, Parks-4-Pups completed the construction of an off-leash dog park at Heilmann Regional Park in Atascadero. In February 2009, we completed the construction of Vineyard Dog Park in Templeton. We are now raising funds to develop an off-leash dog park in Paso Robles.
