Parks-4-Pups is an organization created to encourage San Luis Obispo County to provide areas in the North County for off-leash recreation for people and their dogs. In 2004, Parks-4-Pups became a project area of SLOPOST (San Luis Obispo Parks, Open Space and Trails Foundation) a 501c3, tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. In March 2005, Parks-4-Pups completed the construction of an off-leash dog park at Heilmann Regional Park in Atascadero. We are now raising funds to develop trails and off-leash dog parks in Paso Robles and Templeton.
