Text Box: Dogtoberfest and 8th Annual Wiener Dog Races Saturday, October 11th 10 am—3 pm Atascadero Lake Park (rain or shine) All of us at Parks-4-Pups and Heilmann Dog Park are very excited about partnering with our friends at Lemos Feed and Pet Supply to bring a classic Fall event to Atascadero Lake Park, including the always zany Wiener Dog Races. The popular Disc Dogs in Southern California will be back to amaze and thrill with their flying Frisbee dogs. This show and the pet costume contest were a huge hit last year so you won’t want to miss it. The event day schedule is as follows: 9:00  am Race Check in. Race registration is $10 and includes a goodie bag of dog treats for the first 100 dogs to register. 10:00 am Disc Dogs in Southern California show is repeated at 1:30 pm 11:00 am National Anthem (Michael Bierbaum) 8th Annual Wiener Dog Races 11:30 am Elks BBQ with ($10 adult/$5 child)  ends at 2 pm 12:00 Pet Costume Contest (categories: Scariest, Most Creative, Best Pet/Owner look alike, Best Hollywood Celebrity, Best in Show).
